Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress famous for her character Bo on The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk who was an actor and director. He was also a playwright, educator, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto for her acting to improve, before moving she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she discovered at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They got married in December 2009 following a civil ceremony. Following her conversion to Judaism, they were married again in an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013and had a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen on the television show Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant at the beginning of January 2013, during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk announced on Twitter on 20 June 2013, that production was underway for Season 4. In June of 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for the Fourth season. The character she played Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the all-time Top Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its prominence on social media has gained a significant online fan base.
