In addition, she was one of the participants of the runner-up team for the relay race of 100 meters. Jones was the winner of the NCAA Indoor Hurdles contest in 2003 and in 2004. Jones started her track career in 2005 after she graduated from university. Jones won Torino Memorial in 2005, and also Ostrava and Heusden tracks events the following year.

Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town in South African. She immigrated into Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Brandt was discovered by casting directors in her hometown and took the role of Naevia in the Starz hit Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In the course of her collaboration with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam Raimi's producers, she was a breakout movie star. She was a part of the cult Netflix series Lucifer that had a six year run. She played the beloved comic book character from DC/Vertigo Mazikeen. Forbes listed Lucifer, the world's most-watched series in 2021. Brandt will next be seen in a 6-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira that will premiere in 2024. Brandt also appears alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in a mature animated feature that will be released on Netflix the 20th of July in 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt, born December 2, 1981 was born in Cape Town South Africa. She is quite a talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in the year 1999. In Auckland she was employed in retail and later was promoted to IT management consultant. Lesley's first job was a couple of model projects. She then appeared in numerous commercials. She graduated in 2008 and concluded her acting studies. In 2009, she began her acting studies she began her training again with the Meisner approach to study. Lesley Brandt's very first noteworthy acting role was on the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance in New Zealand's TV series Shortland Street in the role of a second actor. Later she appeared in a sci-fi thriller called This Is Not My Life that is based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt starred in the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia as a hostage. She then appeared in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena Miniseries.
