American actor Allison Brooks Janney was born November 19th 1959. Her work on the screen as well as the stage have been highly praised throughout her entire three-decade career. Janney was awarded numerous accolades including The Academy Award and British Academy Film Award. In addition, she was awarded 7 Primetime Emmy Awards. Two Tony Awards were nominated. Janney was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She was born and raised in Boston. The award was for a pursue a degree in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art following her graduation from Kenyon College. Janney was first seen on television in 1999, playing C. J. Cregg as a character in the political drama NBC's The West Wing (1999 to the year 2006) and won Four Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney was honored with an award called the Primetime Emmy Award for 2014 Outstanding Guest actress in an Drama Series following her role as Margaret Scully on the Showtime series Masters of Sex. Janney was awarded two Outstanding Supporting Actress Awards for Comedy and was also awarded six times by Primetime Emmy Awards.
